Booking of tourist apartaments with the complementary mixed services. Annex on the reservation confirmation

The client and “Las Dunas” Apartments mutually agree to the following terms:

Booking

The reserved apartment, with the price and payment terms, is specified in the RESERVATION CONFIRMATION data.
The additional charges and the tourist tax shall be paid upon the arrival.

“Las Dunas” Apartments reserves the right to cancel the reservation and offer the apartments in question to another client if, after 4 days since the date of payment of 85% of the remainder agreed, that payment to the designated bank account has not been made. The booking does not include any insurance. We advise our clients to take out travel insurance at an insurance agency in which they trust.

Way of payment

The way of payment can be chosen as follows:

  • upon booking with 100% of total price
  • upon booking with 15% of total price. The remaining 85% must be paid 30 days before the arrival

If the booking is made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, payment shall be made in full.
Add-ons and the tourist tax will be billed and paid separately at the time of the entry. The confirmation of reservation becomes valid after the corresponding payment according to the chosen payment modality has been made.

Documentation and deposits

The Client/Lessee and his/her companions must provide a copy of their Identity Document (ID) at the time of the entry, as well as a copy of a credit card in order to cover the Apartment(s) damage deposit, or directly lodge a bond between €150 and 250, according to the period of stay, which will be returned on departure if no incidents have occurred.

Handover and return of the keys

The Reception service for the delivery and return of the apartment keys, in order to adjust to the Apartment cleaning service, will be on the following dates and at the following times:
For the week-end stays the entry will take place on Friday and the departure on Sunday.
For the stays of 1 week or more, both the check-in and check-out will take place on Saturday.
Friday check-in time: from 10 to 12 AM or from 4 to 7 PM.
Saturday check-in time: from 4 to 7 PM.
Saturday check-out time: from 9 to 11 AM.
Sunday check-out time: until 2 PM.

Terms of Cancellation

Up to 60 days before the rental period: 10% of the agreed price.
Up to 30 days before the rental period: 50% of the agreed price.
Up to 15 days before the rental period: 90% of the agreed price.
Less than 15 days before the rental period: 100% of the agreed price, being the costs of return at the charge of the Client.
The amounts applicable in each case may be charged to the Client’s credit card, subject to prior notification.

Characteristics of the Apartments

The Apartments are intended for non-hotel tourist accommodation. The complex consists of 40 apartments spread over 3 floors, with two elevators to accede the upper floors. 35 of these apartments are of 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom for a maximum of 4 people, and 5 apartments are of 3 double bedrooms and two bathrooms for a maximum of 6 people. Each one of them has a living-dining room, satellite TV, air conditioning, American style kitchen equipped with electric hob, a washing machine, a refrigerator and a microwave, as well as a terrace facing the pools. The rooms are fully furnished and provided with kitchen utensils and other household items, and bed linens. All the apartments have outdoor parking places, and access to the common areas of the solarium with adults’ and children’s swimming pools, besides the free Wi-Fi connection service. In addition, the complementary facilities such as a Restaurant, a Bar/Coffee Shop and the baby beds are available.

Inventory

The person concerned accepts the existing inventory and agrees to the careful use of it. The apartment(s) and all the electric appliances, kitchen utensils and other items must be left clean on the departure day. In the case of major damages or losses the person concerned shall replace them or pay them at the time, upon presentation of the corresponding invoice.

Included Services

Bed linen and towels are included in the rental price. For the stays that are longer than a week, bed linen and towels will be replenished weekly. Daily cleaning of the Apartments is not included in the price; for the stays longer than a week a weekly cleaning will be carried out.
No other services are included except those detailed in the preceding paragraphs.

Complaints/Damages

The Apartments are designed by “LAS DUNAS” APARTMENTS following criteria and decorative features typical of similar establishments without leaving for the Client the possibility to claim if the description of the apartment and its furnishings, appliances and utensils are not in accordance with what he/she might have imagined. The person concerned undertakes to inform the rental firm about the abnormalities or damages to the apartments within 24 hours upon entry. He/she also agrees to inform about and pay for the damage, caused by him/her or by people who travel with him/her.
Any other claim that the Client deems to be necessary must be performed during his/her stay in the apartments and be presented in the written form at the time of his/her departure and the handover of the keys. We will not accept nor respond to any other claim that is made to “LAS DUNAS” APARTMENTS at a later date or by any other means than the indicated.
Regardless of all that, the Client has the power to make claims according to the administrative procedures empowered for that purpose before the competent consumer enforcement bodies.

Animals

Keeping animals of any kind is not permitted in the Apartments.

Rules and Regulations

The Apartments are in a perfect state of preservation and habitability, with the necessary power and water supply, and the installed complex facilities fully comply with technical standards of safety and hygiene. The regulation of activity as Tourist Apartments with Mixed Complementary Services is performed in accordance with the rules of The Regional Government of Catalonia, Decree 159/2012, of 20 November.

The RESERVATION acceptance and approval of the ATTACHED TERMS implies the express consent of the Client on all of them.
